New Years Post!!

Hey guys!! Hope you all had a good New Year and didn't wake up to badly the next morning loool!!
I just wanted to share my urban/edgy look that I decided to wear to a party. I heard all the other girls were wearing dresses, but to he honest, I really couldn't be arsed for dresses because I know what I'm like at parties. I like to DANCE. And dance HARD!!! not stand around and look pretty

Jacket- River Island- Christmas present :) <3
T-shirt- Forever 21 (Birmingham- Oxford Street, London have stopped selling it)
Leggings- H&M (Birmingham)
Shoes- New Look, Oxford Street, London - £25
(I don't know/can't remember the other prices lool)

The make up I used was a combination of gold, brown, white, silver and black.
Gold for the whole eyelid/ Lighter gold for brow highlights'
Brown to gradually bring darkness in from the gold to black.
Black for outer eye, ultimate darkness B), and blended into the crease.
White eyeliner for bottom water line. Silver eyeshadow on top of that and the inner corners.
Black kohl pencil underneath black liquid eyeliner for extra darkness. (Also, apply kohl pencil on outer corners again for more depth).
HEAPS OF MASCARA!!
A hint of black eyeshadow for my eyebrows. Not too much though, because I don't really like the 'drawn on eyebrow' look.

Mini haul:

Love life tee- Forever 21 Birmingham
Black knee patch leggings- H&M Birmingham
Grey washed out jeggings- H&M Birmingham
All 3 jumpers and bag- Primark

Hope this post was a good read :)

Make up by me :)

The first two photos are my eyes, my natural everyday make up:

These photos are of my sister. We were trying to do the make up from a 'smokey red' tutorial by ColouredBeautiful on Youtube*, but we didn't have an actual red eyeshadow :( . The nearest we had was dark pink, so I improvised and used the same techniques and I think it turned out ok lool. I'm NOT a make up guru at all haha! But it was just really fun :)

Hope you liked this post :)

DIY Earrings // Hobbycraft

Hey guys, Merry Christmas!! I know it's well late but I'm gonna a MASS postage of posts I've been meaning to put up for a while so you've got lots to look at :)

The earrings I made I did in about 15mins in a rush before I went to HPM's gig so I thought I'd would make a good post :)

All of the things I' ve used came from Hobbycraft (i specifically went to Greenford but I'm sure all these can be found in the other ones too.) The tools I used are my dad's so I have no idea where you can get those, but, Hobbycraft also do jewellery making tools.

These little bits are a few pounds each, I have no idea what those kinda hook things are called, but both of the items either side of the fish skeletons come in multipacks, like, 100s of them in a pack.

These are clippers because I couldn't find my dad's pliers so I had to improvise X_X

So with the pliers, you wanna open out the circle bit of this hook...

... And hook it on to that top hole of the fish skeleton.

Snap of the excess, you probably only need about 2 cm excess, but it can get fiddly so I suppose you can leave more excess then cut off what you don't need.

Now you can get the actual part that hooks into your ear. Put the end circle bit on to the hook you latched to the fish skeleton.

Remember that 2cm excess?.. Twist this into a figure 8 shape, this holds everything together.

Do this again for the other fish skeleton and you have your pair of earrings

I reckon the junk gold fish skeleton finishes off an outfit in an unusual way, it's almost kinda gothic but with that urban feel.
The feeling that you get when people ask you where you bought them from, then you tell em you made them is amazing :)

Hope this post was useful :)
